Chihuahua Rescue Victoria is closing down

Chihuahua Rescue Victoria Newsletter, March 2021

It is with great sadness that I announce I am closing down Chihuahua Rescue Victoria.

Since losing my darling husband, Mayer, my biggest supporter and partner in our joint efforts to rescue so many darling little dogs (and some bigger ones too!) it has become harder for me to cope and continue.

I thank you with all my heart for your very generous support over many years. Without this help we would never have been able to achieve so many happily re-homed little dogs.

We have operated our rescue as a non profit organisation since we started in 1989. I shall continue to look after a few special ones who are old and un-well. I am so grateful to you all for helping us out for such a long time, with your donations and wonderful updates on our Facebook page.

We will be keeping our Facebook page, Chihuahua Rescue Victoria web site and our Blog page open to the community so we can all keep sharing the rescue journey of our little dogs.

For anyone wishing to adopt a rescued chihuahua, please contact Michelle Dryden, an amazingly caring, wonderful lady. She runs her own rescue, One at a Time Pet Rescue Incorporated.

Saving lives, Creating Memories.

One at a Time (OAAT) Pet Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, care, rehabilitation and re-homing of animals in need. We are strong advocates for animal welfare and responsible ownership, and support de-sexing and no kill solutions. Our ‘not for profit’ organisation is based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

I have known Michelle for several years and know she is one very special lady who has the full support of her husband Nick. Michelle and Nick love these very special little dogs!

Again, I want to thank all of you for supporting us over the years, and for adopting, caring for and loving these little Chihuahuas! Feel free to contact me on Facebook, and keep sharing your memories on our page.
